This was the right tool for my rear brake job. I had tried it with a C-clamp with no results but within minutes I had the brake piston retracted. Don't try this job without this tool!

Item works just as expected. No more using pliers or vice grips to do the job. Same goes for not needing two people (at times)! I'd recommend this for sure!

I was able to install brake pads in about 10 minutes per wheel with this tool. Having this tool is far easier than using a C clamp and fighting to get the piston back in. Quality construction and a nice case to keep all the parts together. Highly recommended if you are a do it yourself type or a pro.
