I normally used a pin as recommended in the service manual. This tool does the job nicely specially if you don't have 2 pins of the required size. I'm just a sticker for precision on this type of job and this tool was useful.

Cuando se cambia una correa de distribucion sin la ayuda de otra persona, esta herramienta es de gran ayuda ya que encaja perfectamente en los dientas de poleas. La he usado en chevrolet aveo y optra.

I ordered this thinking it would help changing a volvo DOHC 5cyl, it doesn't fit. Too bad they don't list the engines it will work on.
