Let me just start off by saying that this is well worth the price (less then $10). I am in the process of changing the valve stem seals, valve springs, the whole works and this little tool is making it all that much easier. The tool couldn't be any easier to use, just thread the end into the spark plug tube (after you remove the spark plug), plug the other end into an air compressor and ta-da! The valves of that cylinder will be held in place and not drop into the cylinder, thus allowing you to do all of this work without taking the cylinder head off! My ONLY complaint is that it can sometimes be a bit hard to get the tool to unscrew from the spark plug hole because the rubber hose is kind of flimsy. This might not be an issue for some, but for me and my 90 Accord it is. Just apply a bit of WD-40 and/or some anti-seize to the threaded portion of the tool and it will come off no problem each and every time. This is another one of those "I'll probably use it once every ten years..." tools for the home mechanic, but use it just once and it will pay for itself in time and frustration saved. Pros: WORKS! Cheap! Allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the valve train. Cons: Can get a bit stuck in the spark plug tube. A bit of WD-40 or if they made the threaded end a bit longer would remedy this problem.
