The Malone Telos load assist kayak rack MPG351 temporarily attaches onto the Malone Auto Loader Xv kayak rack (sold separately) and greatly reduces the effort required to load and unload a kayak. The pair of Malone Telos lift assist frames with cradles temporarily attach to each of the Malone Auto Loader kayak cradles when you are ready to load and unload your boat. The Telos is designed for use exclusively with the Malone Auto Loader kayak rack (sold separately). The Auto Loader will mount to Thule racks, Yakima racks, and most factory racks. One person can operate the Telos to raise the kayak up the side of your vehicle. Place the kayak in the Telos cradles in the lowest position. Alternate moving the self-locking ratchets up until both are in the top position. Then slide the kayak onto the Malone Auto Loader kayak rack cradles.
