This was my first experience with AMAZON.COM and am very happy with the whole process from purchasing, shipping, and final installation of PIAA 85112 115db 500HZ + 600HZ Sports Horn. These replaced the weak stock factory horn on our '08 TOYOTA Corolla CE. No drilling of holes as I was able to utilize the available bolts/screws already on and around the radiator support structure. These are ideally sized for the limited space underhood and a bargain for the sound output! Instructions fairly simple and easy, 1/2 hour labor which also entailed removal of the grill to free up my working area. I did not cut off the 1/4" positive (+) female connector, per instructions, opting instead to use a male spade crimped with 2 lengths of wire with female spade connectors at each end for both (+) side of each horn. I used 1 of the included ground (-)wire for the horn farthest from the (+) stock vehicle connector and fashioned a shorter (-) wire for the remaining horn. I at first contemplated the HELLA SUPER TONE HORN but after weighing the benefits of their size versus possible loss of my auxiliary transmission cooler I'm glad for making the right choice of the PIAA's!

I just installed the 85112 horns on my '31 Ford Roadster street rod. My take - if you can't hear these horns, you're deaf. I do have some concern with the plastic construction but they are inexpensive enough that if they fail, you aren't going to go broke replacing them. The instructions should make make reference to a "new installation" as well as factory, but after a couple of readings, you can figure it out.
