This item was returned, at substantial shipping costs to us. The advertisement said it was compatible with the Toyota Corolla without qualification. When received, the item declared it was only compatible with a single Corolla model, and that already having a roof rack.

Very simple to install. Doesn't require additional tools. Little apprehensive about what it could carry but pleasantly surprised that it carried 4 boards or combination boards and skis as described.

This rack is very sturdy and fits my Toyota Tacoma perfectly. I highly suggest you have a manufacturer install it properly (REI did mine for about $200, but it was worth not having the hassle). Also the bars are easily taken off with the hex wrench during non-winter seasons, so UV rays don't deteriorate the rubber. It is noisy in the wind, so that takes some getting used to. This ski rack also comes in a 2-pair model. Extra keys are included. Yakima and Thule have great reputations for racks.
